Through an advance in cell phone technology, texting has become one of the more popular forms of communication today. In Canada where cell phone rates are among some of the world's worst, it's definitely a practical solution to running out your daytime minutes. The world's increasingly busier, and the convenience of keeping in touch with friends and family has many still using this alternative while on the road. Unfortunately this is the cause of many fatalities every year, and some even consider it more distracting than impaired driving.
Totally dangerous. I think the city should make texting and talking on the phone prohibit while driving.

ReplyDeleteI agree that using a cell phone while driving is dangerous, period, whether you are talking or texting. I am not sure how a law prohibiting cell phones could be enforced.
