Disaddvantages of Visual Literacy
Perfect usage of visual literacy is usually very helpful and clear for the readers ;but signs or pictures can cause inconvenience even confusion if they are not used properly. When people are giving a speech, it is better to use less visual literacy as possible. Too many visual signs may attract the audience's attention away from the speech. Also, when the pictures or signs are not accepted as one common understanding, they need more attention when using them. Different people may interpret the same picture differently.

I agree that when there is too much visual literacy during a speech, that it takes the listeners' attention away. Too many times I have experienced this...
ReplyDeleteI agree that there is a fine line between too much visual content during a presentation and just the right amoung. The point that the presentater is trying to make may be lost in the images. Images are important, but you don't want to lose the purpose of the presentation.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see how much visual literacy you put in your presentations!
